What is the address of The Hotel?

It is 38 Boulevard of Waterloo, 1000 Brussels.

How many stars does The Hotel have?

We are a 4 star hotel.

Are there car parking spaces or a car parking?

Our hotel has a private underground car parking. The entrance is just after the building on the right. Should our parking be full, there is also a public parking ‘Deux Portes’ right across the hotel.

Do you offer a valet parking service?

The Hotel does not offer a valet service. You can simply park your car yourselves by entering the parking right after passing The Hotel. If requested prior to arrival, we can possibly arrange this depending on our occupancy.

Do I need to reserve a parking space?

We have more than 100 parking spaces so you do not need to make a reservation for it. In case of having no places left, you can park in the parking ‘Deux Portes’ where there are 719 parking spots.

How much does the parking cost?

The car park costs is 35.00 EUR per 24h.

Should I do the check-in and then park my car or should I park my car first?

You can directly drive into the parking and park your car. A lift will bring you to the lobby.

What is the height of the parking? And the loading bay?

The maximum height is 2,10m. 2,90m for the loading bay.

I have an electric car, can I charge it at The Hotel?

Yes, we have 6 dedicated parking spaces with plugs in the -2.

Can I charge my electric bike/scooter in the room?

No, we avoid charging electric bikes/scooters in the room for safety reasons.

Which is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is the Brussels Zaventem International Airport in Brussels, which is located around 16 km away.

Which is the nearest train station?

The nearest railway station is Brussels Midi only 1.5 km away from the hotel.

Which is the nearest metro station?

The nearest metro station is Louise, 300m from The Hotel.

How can I reach The Hotel from the airport?

Is a limousine service available from the airport?

Yes, this service is available on request to our Concierges. When booking this service, please state the flight number for your arrival and/or departure and the relevant times. The cost of the service depends on which airport you are arriving at or departing from. Please contact concierges@thehotel.be

Is The Hotel in the centre of Brussels?

Yes, the hotel is at border the centre of Brussels, just 20 minutes’ walk from the Grand Place area.

What is the area around The Hotel?

The Hotel is on the Boulevard of Waterloo where all the high-end shops are located. Right next to it, you have the Sablon area, a quartier known for its antiquaries and chocolatiers.

Where is the closest ATM?

At the roundabout Louise, you have an ATM.

Where is the closest pharmacy?

Right across from us to the right.

What is the difference between a twin room and a double room?

A twin room has two single beds, whereas a double room has one king size bed.

Can I book a room without a credit card?

A credit card is required to book a room with us.

Is breakfast included in my rate?

With our Superior rooms, you can choose whether you would like breakfast included in your rate or not. Breakfast is offered to all guests staying in Deluxe Panorama rooms and Suites at The Hotel.

What is served at breakfast?

The breakfast is an American buffet breakfast.

What time is breakfast served?

Breakfast is served from 6.30 AM to 10:00 AM, on weekdays and from 7 AM to 11AM on weekends.

What is the difference between prepaid and flexible rate?

The prepaid rate allows you to save 15% when your travel plans are sure. 100% deposit will be taken on the credit card provided upon reservation. This reservation cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded.
The Flexible rate allows you to change or cancel your booking free of charge until 6.00 PM on the day of arrival.

What difference is there between a Superior room and a Deluxe Panorama room?

The decor is the same, but the Deluxe Panorama rooms are located between the 20th and the 24th floor and have access to the Panorama Lounge where you can enjoy free drinks and snacks from 7 AM to 8 PM. Our Superior rooms are located between the 3rd and 19th floor.

When was The Hotel last refurbished?

The Hotel has been fully renovated in 2014.

Is The Hotel a non-smoking hotel?

The Hotel is fully non-smoking. In case of violation of smoking regulations, a cleaning fee of 150€ will be charged.

Guests are kindly asked not to smoke within 10 meters of The Hotel’s entrance.

Do you have rooms for disabled guests?

Yes, our hotel offers one accessible room to accommodate guests with special accessibility needs.

Do you have family rooms?

No, we do not.

Do the bathrooms have baths or showers?

Most of the rooms have a shower. Bathtubs are available at only in Superior rooms and in Splendour Suites.

How many floors does the hotel have?

The hotel has 27 floors and rooms are between the 3rd and 24th floor.

I haven’t received a booking confirmation, what should I do?

Contact The Hotel for assistance with your booking confirmation.

I need more than 10 rooms, can I get a special rate?

Check-in time?

The check-in time is after 3.00 PM Let us know your arrival time and we’ll do our best to have your room available.

Checkout time?

The check-out time is before 12 PM. If you plan a late check out kindly let us know your departure time, we’ll do our best to satisfy your needs.

Can I have a room on a high floor?

We will do our best depending on availability.

When will I know my room number?

Upon check-in.

Do you have connecting rooms?

Yes but very few. If you require connecting rooms, please request them when making your booking.

I need an early check-in. When can I have my room?

For an early-check in we kindly ask you to contact us directly at book@thehotel.be and we will do our best to satisfy your needs.

What about a late checkout?

You can enjoy your room until 6.00 PM for an additional costs.

Can I check-in without an ID?

A valid European ID or passport is mandatory to proceed with your check-in.

Do I need to give a deposit upon check-in?

Yes, a security deposit to cover the total accommodation as well as any incidental charges that may incurred during your stay will be required upon check-in.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, China UnionPay. 

How much is the city tax?

City tax is 4.24 EUR per room per night.

Is reception open 24 hours?

Yes, reception service is available 24 hours.

Which languages are spoken at Reception?

English, French, Dutch, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Italian.

Can I leave my luggage?

Yes, we can look after your luggage. We will store your luggage free of charge on your check-in and check-out days.

Internet connection?

A wireless internet connection is available throughout the hotel. The guest rooms feature a free high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity.

How much is breakfast?

It is 32.00 EUR per person per day.

Is there a lift?

There are six lifts for guests.

Is it possible to have a baby cot in the room? If so, at what price?

Yes, baby cots are available for free for children under 2 years old, simply call housekeeping upon arrival.

Is it possible to have an extra bed?

Only in one of our suites for 30.00 EUR per night.

Do you have hairdryers in the room?

Yes, we do.

Are pets allowed to stay at the hotel?

Yes, dogs are allowed. A supplement of EUR 30.00 per stay is charged.The Iris restaurant also has dedicated table for dogs. 

What is the Panorama Lounge?

Our Panorama Lounge on the 24th floor is a peaceful haven where guests staying in Deluxe Panorama rooms and Suites can take breakfast, enjoy a complimentary drink or snack from the all-day open bar or browse The Hotel’s library of richly illustrated fashion and lifestyle books and glossy magazines.

What are the opening times?

From 7 AM to 8 PM.

Does The Hotel have conference rooms?

Do you have a restaurant?

Yes, The Iris, which is located on the ground floor and has been fully refurbished in 2022. You can discover its menu or book a table here.

There used to be a restaurant on the top floor, is it still opened?

The Iris is now on the ground floor and offers a view over the Park of Egmont.

Do you have a brunch?

Yes, every Sunday from 12PM to 3:30PM for 65.00 EUR.

Is there a bar at The Hotel?

Yes, The Iris bar is on the ground floor. It is open from 6:30 AM until 12 AM from Sunday until Thursday. On Friday and Saturday is is open from 6:30 until 1 AM.

Is room service available? If so, at what time?

Room service is available 24/7 with a limited menu at night.

Can I have breakfast in bed? How much is it?

Yes, you can with our room service. Extra costs will be taking in to account. .

Do you have a spa?

Yes, we do. The Urban Spa on the 23rd floor has a sauna and a Hamman. 

What are the opening hours?

From 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

What about a fitness centre?

Yes, it has top of the line cardio and strength equipment.

Do I have access to it with my booking? And is it free?

Yes, all our staying guests have free access to the Urban Spa and the fitness.

Do you have a swimming pool?

Unfortunately, no.

And a jacuzzi?

We do not have a Jacuzzi either.

Can I have a massage or a treatment? How to book them?

We do not offer spa treatments in house, however, we work in partnership with the exclusive Nadine Salembier Institute located 100m from the Hotel. You can also book a 2h spa treatment for 2 directly with your stay at The Hotel thanks to our Spa For Two Package.

What is the cancellation policy?

Please note that any treatment cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full.

I am not a guest staying at The Hotel, can I have access to the Urban Spa or the fitness?

Our Urban Spa along with our fitness is only accessible to guest staying with us.

I loved the smell in The Hotel. What is it?

It is our custom made fragance called Le Parfum. You can buy it from the reception.

What should I do if I have not received my invoice?
