Under the general guidance and supervision of the Events & Experience Manager(s) and Director of Business Development, the Events & Experience Executive manages the delivery of conferences and meetings, promotes the desired work culture and the brand ethos.

 

Overview :

-Maximize, Maintain and develop contacts with business generators, meeting and conference planners, visitors/Conference Bureau, travel agents, tour operators, corporate accounts.

-Communicate and coordinate with all operational departments (Front Office, F&B, M&E OPS, Sales, Reservations) to ensure the flawless organization of (residential) meetings & events and group bookings.

About you :

-You've experience in an Events role ideally 
-You're fluent in English and the knowledge of Dutch and/or French is as plus
-You've a good command of the Microsoft Office Suite
-You’re able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-growth environment that relies in many ways on being flexible and moving fast
-You are energized by customer satisfaction, you are open-minded and creative

The Sales Manager manages an account portfolio with key & prospects accounts to drive revenue to The Hotel and increase market share by undertaking sales activities & events in line with the sales strategy in order to achieve and exceed budget within the allocated markets segment. 

Overview :

Key responsibilities

-Sells all facets of The Hotel
-Conducts a regular pattern of sales calls with key contacts
-Conducts regular telesales  with key contacts
-Organises and hosts client events with key contacts
-Organises and conducts familiarisation trips
-Prepare and complete all RFP’s within the allocated industries / markets segment by dong the client profiling
-Actively prospects for new business
-Monitors competitor activities and assists in market intelligence
-Achieves/exceed personal budget objectives in line with The Hotel sales strategy
-Obtains perfect knowledge of the current hotel performance
-Obtains perfect knowledge of the hotel’s need periods
-Analyses success of sales actions
-Conducts regular account reviews
-Participates in trade shows and industry forums

 

Administration

-Ensures input of all strategic information in the hotel Customer Relationship Management tool
-Ensures written client follow up
-Meets deadlines for assigned tasks
-Completes weekly report & monthly report
-Attends sales meeting
-Health, safety & security
-Fully understands departments procedures for health, hygiene & fire life safety
-Fully understands The Hotel’s safety, first aid and emergency procedures

 

About you :

-You have preferably a Bachelor level
-You have a working experience in Sales Environment
-You're fluent in French & Englsh, fluent knowledge of Dutch is highly appreciated
-You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office & Opera (or any other PMS system)
-You are a natural negotiator & driven for results
-You are poisitive, constructive and motivated by challenges 
-You have excellent time management skills and you are a team player, open and dynamic

The Waiter or Waitress will be in charge of transmitting orders to the buffet and/or kitchen staff and will work in collaboration with the kitchen.

Overview :

-Sell and serve food and drinks: setting up, serving, clearing and preparing the bill
-Contribute to making the customer's meal and - or stay unique and unforgettable
-Work closely with the colleagues
